Harbour Bridge
From the harbour, this bridge leads to
the East Sands.
Just under the bridge is a lock gate which
can be closed to keep the inner harbour full of water as the tide
recedes. In practice it is rarely used and the pleasure craft
anchored in the inner harbour are often left high and dry on the
silt.
